Pretty, gold color – can look like a brighter gold or lean brownish-gold, depending on the light. There is "abrash" in the field (the subtle varying shades of color that come from natural dyes). The loop/pile construction makes the design more prominent from one angle, and less visible from other angles (see images).
Beautiful, natural dye rugs. Each rug is one-of-a-kind. Handwoven in Nepal with organic Tibetan wool. No chemical treatments are used (moth/stain proofing, glues or fire retardants), so there is no toxic off-gassing.
