Green Tara (Syamatara)

Tibetan Buddhist Thankga Painting (Newari-style)

Authentic, very fine quality thangka. Handpainted on cotton canvas with vibrant pigments. Extremely detailed iconography. Gold accents.

Lovely painting. The Green Tara is known as the Buddha of enlightened activity and associated with protection from fear and obscurations.
